In 2020-2021, CFC families participated in Kids Can Code, with and without technology. Coding provides students with opportunities to think logically, problem-solve, examine syntax and sentence structures, and be creative. By the end of the 3-class series, families created their very own digital story or game!

Class 1: Explore

Families created and followed algorithms, or sets of step-by-step instructions, while exploring different unplugged activities.

Class 2: Design

Families designed a Botley maze and developed a program with sequences to solve it.

Class 3: Build

Families used Tynker Jr to build a digital story or game on the iPad.
